To meet the English requirements for UK Skilled Worker Visa there are 4 options.
1. Pass any one of the following 4 facet English language exams:
- IELTS for UKVI IELTS SELT Consortium with a minimum score of 4 in each module. Academic or General both are ok as long as they are UKVI version.
- LanguageCert International ESOL SELT B1 with a minimum score of 33 in each of the modules
- PTE Academic UKVI Pearson with a minimum score of 43 in each of the modules
- Integrated Skills in English I (ISEI) Trinity College with a pass in each of the modules
2. If in possession of a Bachelors/Masters degree from outside the UK with a English medium of instructions.
- Obtain an ECCTIS letter https://www.ecctis.com/visasandnationality confirming that they have passed an overseas degree that is considered to be equivalent to at least UK Bachelors’ degree and was taught in English.
3. Complete a bachelors or Masters degree from the UK.
4. National of a majority English Speaking country.
- An applicant will meet the English language requirement if they are a national of any of the following majority-English-speaking countries:
- Antigua and Barbuda
Australia
The Bahamas
Barbados
Belize
The British Overseas Territories
Canada
Dominica
Grenada
Guyana
Jamaica
Malta
New Zealand
St Kitts and Nevis
St Lucia
St Vincent and the Grenadines
Trinidad and Tobago
United States of America

Please note that for certain job roles the above scores are not enough, for example for Nurses an overall score of 7 is required in IELTS Academic.
